Expert Terms & Services Agreement

1. Expertise and Conduct

1.1 The expert agrees to provide accurate information about their qualifications and areas of expertise.
1.2 The expert commits to maintaining professional conduct in all interactions within the Umaversity community.
1.3 The expert will respect the diversity of the community, including all cultures, ages, and gender identities.
 

2. Content Creation and Sharing

2.1 The expert agrees to create and share content that aligns with Umaversity's mission of promoting mental, body, and sexual wellness.
2.2 All content must be original or properly attributed to avoid copyright infringement. 2.3 Umaversity reserves the right to review and moderate expert-generated content.
 

3. Confidentiality and Privacy

3.1 The expert must maintain the confidentiality of community members and refrain from sharing personal information.
3.2 The expert agrees to adhere to all applicable privacy laws and regulations.
 

4. Community Engagement

4.1 The expert agrees to actively participate in the community, responding to questions and engaging in discussions, and showing presence during events or key moments within the platform.
4.2 The expert should promote a safe and supportive environment for all community members.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 All content the expert creates for Umaversity — including masterclasses, materials, visuals, and written content — becomes the exclusive property of Umaversity to use, reproduce, and distribute the recording and any additional content created from it within Umapedia and other Umaversity platforms. 
5.2 The expert will be credited by name, qualifications, and contact details (if provided) wherever their content appears within Umaversity.

5.3 Any reuse or sharing of content outside Umaversity must be approved in writing.

6. Compensation and Fees

6.1 If there are any compensation arrangements, these will be agreed upon separately and documented in writing.
6.2 The expert agrees not to solicit Umaversity community members for services outside of the Umaversity platform without prior written consent. Umaversity provides ample opportunities for the expert to offer their services within the platform.
 

7. Termination

7.1 Umaversity reserves the right to terminate an expert's participation in the community for violations of these terms or for any reason that may negatively impact the community and Umaversity's mission.

7.2 The expert may also terminate their participation as an Umaversity expert by providing at least one (1) month’s written notice to the Umaversity team. Upon termination, Umaversity may continue to display or archive previously published content.

8. Liability

8.1 The expert is responsible for the advice and information they provide and agrees to indemnify Umaversity against any claims arising from their contributions.
 

9. Updates to Terms

9.1 Umaversity may update these terms periodically, and the expert agrees to abide by the most current version.

By agreeing to these terms, the expert confirms their commitment to Umaversity's mission and community standards.
